I typically like to keep from posting political posts or discussing politics with others, especially if I am unsure of their political affiliation.

I do not hide the fact that I have very liberal view points, but I grew up being taught the value of respecting everyone’s views and opinions. So even if we do not agree on the political spectrum, I still want to say that I value your opinion, and your right to have one.

HOWEVER, these tariffs will not only destroy my small business, but most of the small businesses in America. Nearly all of my products that I outsource, that are not paper, I outsource from China. Well, you may ask, why not scource from a domestic company instead? That is a great question! Because there are not that many, and the few that are available, do not have the quality I look for in my products.

For example, my keychains. StickerMule offers custom keychains. But, they are single sided, and have a very limited selection of the types of keychains that can be made. And they are not the only company with this problem.

Small business do not have the same access to recources that larger companies do.

Oh, and if you love enamel pins…If you love Disney Collector Pins…those can ONLY be made in China, and the equipment used to make them are completely illegal to own in the US, the UK, and many other countries, since the press they use to make the molds for the pins, are the same machines they use to make coins…hence why, illegal. So those, are going to just not going to exist anymore. Or if they do, they will be at 300% the current price. So that $20 Mickey Mouse pin that you were so looking forward to collecting? Yea, it’s now a minimum of $50.
